Ugh I know i'm probably a bit late because it's almost Friday in Australia >.< but i've had back pain all week and didn't want to rush this thing 
But yea anyway a Happy Australia day to all Aussie folks world wide!
I've always wanted to draw a patriotic Mellán and have an excuse now lol 
Subtle scales and alot of shading here, I hope he doesn't look too shiny
Oh! And my first major drawing of 2017!

Aaand more improvement, really, I can see it each time you upload a new drawing. This is a really cool way to celebrate Australia's day, and Mellan in the perfect guy for this, he looks very proud with the flag, gotta love that grin and the pose. Very good anatomy, specialy in the limbs.
I can see why you struggled with the wings, the look hard to draw. Altough I think that they should look stronger. ^w^ Good shading anyways.
